CWRU Crew has concluded its spring season with a strong finish at the 2022 Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta!

​We are excited to welcome new members to the team this fall. Interested athletes and coxswains are encouraged to complete the interest form linked below to join for the fall season 2022. Please contact a team captain directly with any additional questions.

WHO WE ARE

CWRU Crew team is a highly competitive collegiate club team based in Cleveland, OH. We compete at regional and national regattas throughout the country against both club and division teams with the annual goal of winning a national championship title. No experience is necessary to join, and the team is open to undergraduate and graduate students.

I've never rowed before. How does that work?

Your first two weeks of practice are focused on learning the skills and techniques of rowing, with the constant help of varsity members and coaches.

Will I be able to balance crew and academics?

Yes! First and foremost, you are a student. Time management is very important, and varsity will help you learn how to balance crew and academics. We have students from all different majors become very successful on the team.

What's the time commitment?

For the fall season, the commitment for novices is practice 2-3 a week in the evenings as well as Saturday mornings. In the winter, practice is in the morning from Monday through Saturday.
